The O.G. AS FOREFATHER: An Inherited Code Refined by Revelation
"The best of them before Islam are the best of them in Islam - if they gain understanding." - Prophet Muhammad (Sahih Bukhari)
Every community inherits a moral code. The Roman prized discipline and civic duty. The Bedouin prized murūʾah: courage, loyalty, generosity and protection of the guest. In system-affected communities, the O.G. embodied his own code—loyalty, self-made wealth, protection for loved ones, and survival under pressure.
None of these inheritances is pure. Discipline can serve domination. Group loyalty can become tribalism. Courage can become violence. Survival can become self-destruction.
Islam neither romanticizes inherited culture nor erases it. Revelation preserves what is noble, corrects what has become distorted and redirects human strength toward Allah.
The work is not cultural erasure. It is moral refinement.
Restorative Islamic Pedagogy
Restorative Islamic Pedagogy is a methodology that envisions a community where system-affected Muslims see themselves as servants of Allah first—before their record, their status, or society’s label.
We envision an approach to Islam that recognizes that transformation begins with hope, not judgment: emphasizing personal responsibility, moral agency, and renewal. In this vision, aqeedah and fiqh remain important, but they serve the person rather than defining them; identity as a servant of Allah comes before identity as a ward of the system.

THE PRACTICE
YEAR 1: FOUNDATION
Pillar 1: Identity & Discipline [Weeks 1-26]
Rebuild who you are as a Muslim, not as your past. Build daily structure around salah time, and responsibility.
Pillar 2: Healing & Stability [Weeks 27-52]
Address trauma, anger, addiction. Learn to exist in family and community again without folding under pressure.

YEAR 2: APPLICATION
Pillar 3: Work, Family & Leadership [Weeks 53-78]
Function as a Muslim in the real world. Halal income, healthy relationships, leadership without ego.
Pillar 4: Legacy & Consistency [Weeks 79-104]
Build a life that sustains beyond survival. Mentorship, Qur’an implementation, and preparing the next generation.

Restorative Islamic Pedagogy treats a person’s entire life-experience as a source of insight and a pathway forward, not as a record of shame.
THE WEEKLY RHYTHM: The curriculum is 104 weeks. The rhythm is every week. That’s how consistency is built.
